About Me
Tammy has been a licensed Massage Therapist since 2017.
She holds a license for Therapeutic Massage in both Alaska and Montana.
Prior to starting her career in Bodywork, Tammy was an apprentice Midwife and Doula. She's been active in volunteer leadership roles for well over a decade most recently as head of the Alaska Chapter for AMTA ( American Massage Therapist Association). Being the mother of 5 kids keeps her busy when she is not caring for people in her office.
When she has free time, she enjoys cooking, watching movies, traveling and reading.
The "Air" Room
The original concept for the 4 treatment rooms were inspired by the 4 Elements; Air, Water, Earth, Fire. I chose the "Air" room as my treatment room for many reasons but mostly i love the warm colors, and the spacious but also cozy feeling it has. It might have something to do with me being born under the 3 Air Signs in Astrology.... Aquarius, Gemini and Libra... But either way, it somehow just feels right. I hope that you like it too.

I very much enjoy learning about masage and the different modalities. I am well versed in Myofascial Cupping, Gua Sha, the use of Hot & Cold Stones, Essential Oils (Aromatherapy) as well as Thai Yoga stretching, Tui Na, Lomi Lomi, Traditional Swedish Massage, Myofascial Release, and Warm Bamboo Massage just to name a few. These are likely the ones that I use on a daily basis with some few other techniques sprinkled in when the treatment calls for it.
